Day 14 Weight loss video blog – I am going to lose 40 Lbs

Yesterdays was full of temptations, candy, fries but the new craving skills helped. I was a clear no.
Writing and monitoring are very important
It helps
-Plan and prepare food
-Avoid tempting situations
-Plan before triggers, hunger, cravings
Plan next days meals in writing, develop meal options to make this easier
Weight in, only once a week, same time, same weight cloths, dont judge weight

Dieters have biggest resistance to planning and writing down, feels hard, regimented and a drag. But she says it is essential. SO she says do it for a week or a day.
I have huge resistance to this. Beck says this will increase success chances especially later in the diet as resolve weakens

11 Day 11

Day 11 of the diet, weight at 214
Many of us have a problem distinguishing between:
1-True hunger, after several hours of no food = stomach rumbling
2-Desire to eat just because there is food around = even though you just ate a good meal
3-Craving, a body and emotional urge to eat = a strong urge to eat, tension and yearning sensation in your mouth and throat or body
Rate your hunger through the day 0 to 10
Before meal, my stomach feels: Midway, Right after, 20 minutes after
20 minute to 3 hours after meal its probably desire to eat not hunger. Learn to strengthen your power muscle rather youre giving in muscle.

Weight Loss Journey Update with raw food diet, diabetes, pcos, crossfit

This is an update. I talk about what has given me inspiration and motivation (see links below) for weight loss. I have been following a “mostly” raw food diet and tomorrow will start a beginner’s crossfit exercise program. I used to weigh 280 pounds and am currenly in the 170’s, working to my next goal.

I have type 2 diabetes with bad insulin resistance and have been told I probably have pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I used to take insulin and have been able to stop that. I also had really high blood pressure, and it now runs low.

I am working towards improving my health, gaining better fitness, learning better nutrition so I can reach my goals fast.
