Slimming Aids and Low Glycemic-Index Diets

Low Glycemic-Index diets like those made fashionable in the South Beach Diet have become very prominent lately. The food that is chosen for these diets are primarily selected based on how they effect your blood sugar level. The idea is that a low-carb diet will reduce insulin levels in your blood causing your body to use up the fat by burning it up as energy.

Clearly these diets are causing results or else they would not be so popular, but many people find it tough keeping to a diet that limits the number of foods they are allowed eat. This is particularly true when dealing solely with foods that have a low-glycemic ranking.

I personally would prefer to go with slimming aids that encourage you to eat good food regularly and often.
