The summer months in the Dominican Republic are from May to October. High temperatures reach about 87 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). The problem is the humidity. The humidex can soar in the summer.
May is the major rainfall month of the year. The rainfall generally rains quite hard and then is followed by sunshine. With the breeze and the sunshine, it dries up very quickly.
