Hi!
I have found a great blog with a story of a woman who lost weight in a healthy and easy way. It was an eye-opener for me. I’ve tried it and I must admit that the results amazed me. I lost more than 30 pounds so far and I feel better than ever.
So, what is this diet about? Well, it teaches you how to stay healthy while losing weight. It is so easy when you know how to do it, and in a long run it shows much better results, because after other diets I’ve tried before you just get that fat back. The thing is, you have to eat a few times a day, not starve. Because when you are not eating, your body stores fat and it is much harder to lose weight. When you eat, and you know what and when and how, your body will know that there is food around so it won’t store fat – it will burn it!
Here are some hints from Betty’s blog:
1.The diet creates meal plans and recipes just for you.
2.You are able to eat a few times a day, which means that you are not starving yourself!
3.The diet is based upon calorie shifting and shows you what you are doing wrong. Betty Winter on her site explains it all.
4.What is most important, you are able to buy all the food in a local store. There is no need for some expensive fancy food that promises miracles, but does nothing at all.
5.It teaches you how to lose bad eating habits.
As I told you, this diet was an eye-opener and it works. With the proper guidance all the way through the diet, it is so easy and you can do it too. It can all be found online, as Betty describes.
Betty also gives FREE gifts to anyone who visit her site these days so be sure to check it out!
So, if you wish to learn more about this easy healthy diet, check Betty’s blog, it’s in my source. Good luck!
Im trying to lose about 10 pounds.
What should i be eating everyday? Im not really sure whats healthy.
Usually i don’t have enough time for breakfast, but if i was to eat a yogurt or something would that be healthier ? Lunch i go to school so i get sometime from the cafeteria, or go out to eat. What are good healthy lunch ideas? And supper is usually just a basic, meat vegetables kinda thing.
What would be a good eating plan ?
10 pts if you list more then one food i can eat for that meal because i want to extend this diet for awhile, without eating the same thing everyday !
If it helps im 5′3 and 140 pounds.
and im 17
Good luck!! Here are some ideas for meals:
Breakfast:
40g granola, 100g non-fat greek yogurt, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1 cup bluberries
1 egg + 1 egg white scramble with mixed vegetables and a piece of wholegrain toast with 1 tsp vegan margarine
2 slices wholegrain toast with 2 tbsp peanut or almond butter. 1 cup fat-free green yogurt on the side with strawberries.
1/2 cup oats with 1.5 cups water – make oatmeal. Top with 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1 chopped banana
Green smoothie with: 2 cups spinach, 1 cup rice or almond milk, 1 frozen banana – blend until smooth. You won’t be able to taste the spinach, trust me: I drink these every day and they’re the reason I feel amazing!
Lunch and dinner ideas:
Mary’s Organic Crackers with 1/4 cup plain hummus and 1 cup Amy’s chunky tomato bisque
A green salad with mixed veggies, goat cheese, homemade salad dressing {1 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp vinegar of your choice, 1/2 tsp mustard powder, 1 garlic clove – crushed} with a veggie burger on the side
A sandwich with: 2 slices wholegrain bread, lettuce, tomato, avocado, hummus and a bag of baked tortilla chips with salsa
‘Tacos’ with two taco shells filled with chickpeas {baked with taco seasoning}, lettuce, guacamole, salsa and chopped bell peppers
Homemade baked beans [recipe here: http://eatliverun.com/breakfast-recipes/homemade-baked-beans/] with wholegrain bread and a side green salad with mixed veggies and homemade dressing
Tortilla ‘pizza’ with one tortilla topped with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, mixed vegetables, chickpeas and served with a side salad
Lentil casserole, with lentils, water, a can of chopped tomatoes, curry paste, chopped potatoes and mixed vegetables. Cook until lentils are done and the casserole isn’t too watery.
Hope this helps!! My advice to you {this is what has worked for me} is get plenty of good fat, good protein and good grains in your diet. Leave out meat, dairy and other junk because it doesn’t contribute to weight loss and just tires out your body. Try to fill up on vegetables and fruit and make your meals really fun and interesting.
Search out recipe websites and try your hand at making new things.
As for exercise – don’t kill yourself. 30 minutes of walking a day, plus doing power yoga 3-5 times a week and lifting light weights is all you need to get toned and trim!
Good luck
Hi I’ve been wanting to diet for a long time but I’m not really sure how many portions of each catagory of food I should have a day.I need help. Because I am not that healthy I need the circle of good health in other words I need how many fruit, fat, vegtables ect. A day so could anyone help me lose my extra fat?
I go by my own rules. But I eat well.
I try and eat some nuts, an apple and a banana everyday. In the summer, I eat an orange too.
I eat about 5-6 little meals a day, I graze like a cow.
I find this great because 1. I never over eat, 2. when I do eat "bad" foods, I can’t eat as much, because my body is used to smaller amounts and 3. I like to eat and it feels like I eat lots.
It can be hard because your body expects to get fed every 2 hours, so you need to learn to carry around some fruit, granola bars etc.
But the best thing is to add some cardio, some walking, anything to get your heart pumping too.
I just found out that you can do little things, like do as many pushup as you can 4-5 times a day, same with sit ups…it sounds so easy and quick.
good luck
I recently had my second child 14 months after my first child. I want to lose my pregnancy weight. I want to know other than the obvious (veggies and fruits and water) . I know exercise is important as well but I am mainly focused on the food aspect of losing weight. what are some healthy and tasty meals that can drop the weight? thanks to all who respond.

Diet i.e. a large % of the cats diet consists of steamed chicken complemented with either tuna, pilchards or sardines, occasional milk and unfortunately up until now Purina 1 total nutrition chicken and rice formula (dry compliment)? In your opinion what is the best dry supplements on the market? On determining what is the best can this be offset with additional wet variations which will give the same desired dietary results?
I personally feed a ground Raw Meat, Bones and Organ based diet to my cats and they are incredibly healthy on it. I HIGHLY recommend it. While scary at first, once I got the hang of it and felt comfortable with it it’s a snap to prepare.
Cats are obligate carnivores after all and must derive ALL their nutrients from meat based sources. They are unable to absorb them from any other source. Despite thousands of years of domestication they remain strictly carnivorous. True and honest meat eaters and that is what they need most. Protein from meat!
If you are interested in feeding a raw diet some great places to start learning are http://www.catinfo.org/ , http://www.catnutrition.org/ , and http://www.felinefuture.com/nutrition/ .
If you would like to try raw with your cats and don’t want to get all technical about it but want to try a trusted, time tested and balanced raw diet you can order from http://www.felinespride.com/products/catfood.aspx . I purchased this myself when I first started and my cats loved it!
Another premade Raw you can try is Natures Varity. I personally have never used this but know many people that do and it’s pretty easy to find http://www.naturesvariety.com/content.lasso?page=1507&-session=naturesvariety:D04EC9250597c11908GJS417647E

Diet and excercise DEFINITELY go together and you can’t fully see results until you do hard work on both – what’s a good "diet" or foods i can eat that will benefit my workout/body? Any specific things?
Lots of protein like chicken breast and eggs.
I’m in a rut and trying to find new recipes for tasty food. I’m trying to find nutritious food but I’m not trying to lose weight. When I try to do a search for that all I find is just really low calories, lacking in nutritional value and BLAND. Why do most recipe websites think that low calorie automatically =healthy?
I think my main issue is that I bike everywhere and overall just burn calories like crazy so really low cal food keeps me full for like 2 seconds.
Try a health food store.
I just started a diet and i want to know what kinds of foods are good for a diet
replace mayo with a yogurt /mayo mixture
