I Need Help With Diet Food?

October 102009

Hi, I am 14 years old and I go to Fitness First Gym 5 times a week. I do exercising and building muscle. I need to eat healthy because I am a bit fat. Can you please tell me a good diet plan ( good foods to eat ) so I can loose weight. Thanks.

Stick with your veggies, grain (brown rice, oatmeal), and lean meats.

A good diet example would be:

1: Eggs, Oatmeal, Almonds
2: Protein Shake
3: Tuna, mayonnaise, whole grain bread, veggies
4: Chicken, brown rice, small salad
5: Fish or Turkey, brown rice with cheese, veggies
6: Protein Shake (Casein, slow releasing proteins)

Then sticking with compound movements and progressive resistance. 5 days per week with a routine is too much, you’d need to stick with 3 days.

Hi There -

Plie squat exercises, along with abductor & adductor machine exercises will help to sculpt your thighs. I have written an article on plie squats, along with demonstration videos to show you how, and a sample workout.

diet plans for my 13 year old daughter and food gets delivered to me?

October 22009

13 year olds on a whole shouldn’t have to diet. They should just eat healthy balancing sweets and good foods and exercise. That said, we as adults should be able to do that too, but it doesn’t always work, and have any of you looked at the school lunches lately? They stink – plus it’s really hard to find foods that don’t have a lot of additives, even so called "healthy" foods have MSG which can cause swelling and short term bloating/weight gain – if it’s just to get healthy, then work out in moderation – like forgo the video games and ride a bike or dance to music, make it fun, and just do your best to keep healthy stuff around, if it’s a serious problem – like actual clinical obesity, see your physician for blood work cause it could be anything from diabetes to food allergies to thyroid or hormone imbalance before you start an "official" diet.

Any good diet/food plans for pre-teens?

September 282009

An approximately 4 foot 10 inch girl, who currently is 124.5 pounds, would like the be at least 98, 99, or 100 pounds.
Please, no rude things.

Just make some simple diet changes like:
-No soda or diet soda
-Drink alot of water
-No desert or candy
-No fried foods or junk food
-Don’t eat a whole lot of bread & white flour
-Eat lots of veggies & fruit, lean meats, grilled fish
-Don’t eat dairy that’s not low-fat

That should help! <3

Also, excersise. Go for long walks, crunches, squats, sit up’s..lunges.

Hope this helps =]

do any insurance plans cover diet foods or diet programs?

September 242009

I’m curious if there are any insurance providers that are proactive in helping their insurers get fit and help subsidise a healthy eatting program if supported by their doctor for those who are overweight and or have health issues?

I’m not sure about the diet foods, but most health plans will subsidize visits to a registered dietician. And you’re right, why shouldn’t they? Dieticians can help you better manage your weight and diet which can help reduce the risk of heart problems, diabetes, and other conditions affected by your weight. Managed care health plans from health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and preferred provider organizations (PPOs) frequently feature staff dieticians you can visit for a low per-visit fee. When you begin searching for local health plans that offer full or discounted coverage for diet programs, you might use the terms “nutritional counselor” and “registered dietician.”

You can evaluate a wide selection of local health plans through MostChoice.com. You can also speak to multiple health insurance agents who have probably answered the question you have about health plans available in your area. It’s a fast, free way to find the health plan that’s right for you – at the lowest possible price – without any obligation.

I’ve just bought a juicer – how can I work juices into my diet without totally replacing food?

September 222009

I’ve been trying to find ideas for juice diet plans on the net and they are all just juice-only diets. I don’t want to starve myself and also I’m living with my parents who would freak out if they saw me not eating, just juicing.
So how can I work juices into my diet so that I am still eating foods but losing a bit of weight and being healthy? (I’m also exercising)

I juiced till my weight watchers leader told me it’s the flesh of the fruit that gives you fiber and helps fullness.

If you are hell bent on juicing, I would juice once per meal. It gets expensive and a lot of work after awhile.
I like the idea above to use it to replace snacks.

I sold mine.

Does the raw food diet work?

September 202009

I plan to go on the raw food diet and I plan to eat only fruits and veggies. And I was wondering, is it safe? I won’t pass out or become malnourished or anything like that, will I?

For anyone who has actually tried this diet, YOUR advice and experience will be helpful.

my ex bf was a raw food vegan, i say was b/c i don’t talk to him and am not sure if he still is, however he lost a lot of weight. along with droppin pounds he ate a helluva lot more and was more open to tryin new things. one down side of it was his smell, you know when you take the lid off of steamin brocolli? that’s what he smelled like. his doctor gave him a clean bill of health. durin the time that we still talked he was very happy with it. i believe if you have the will power you can do it. but don’t jus do it to loose some weight…this is a type of choice to change your life because as soon as you stop the weight will come back. good luck~!
